These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the RHRS mobile app (pronounced “Rehearse”) and the website at rhrs.app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by ELABORATE DIGITAL s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 07519559, with its registered office at Malobřevnovská 904/33, Břevnov, 169 00 Prague 6, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file C 302349 (“we”, “us”). 2. The Service
RHRS helps actors learn their lines and rehearse scenes. You can upload scripts, read them, listen to them and rehearse your part with an AI scene partner that reads the other characters’ lines. You can also record your own lines and rehearse together with other people you invite to a script.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms.
4. Your account
You need an account to use the app. You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your e-mail, or with a supported account such as Google. Keep access to your e-mail and sign-in method secure: you are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
5. Your content
It stays yours. Scripts, notes, stage directions, recordings and anything else you upload or create in the Service (“Your Content”) remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.
What you allow us to do. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, convert and display Your Content, and to generate audio from it, only as needed to provide the Service to you and to the people you share it with. This includes processing by our service providers, including AI services. The licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for text you have added to a script that stays shared with others (for example lines or stage directions you edited), which stays available to them as described in our Privacy Policy. Your recordings are always deleted with your account.
What you promise. You may only upload content you are allowed to use. Many scripts are protected by copyright; you are responsible for having the right to use a script for your own rehearsal and for sharing it only with people you are allowed to share it with. You must not upload recordings of other people without their permission.
We do not use Your Content to train AI models.
If someone believes content in the Service infringes their rights, they can write to us at hello@rhrs.app and we will look into it and, where appropriate, remove it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including copyright;
- upload content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing or sexually explicit involving minors;
- use the Service to create audio that impersonates a real person in order to deceive;
- try to access other people’s accounts or scripts without permission;
- interfere with the Service, probe its security, overload it, or scrape it;
- copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Service, except where the law allows it.
7. AI features
The AI scene partner, generated voices, speech checking and script import rely on automated systems. They can make mistakes: a line may be split or attributed wrongly, a voice may mispronounce a word, or a correct line may be marked as wrong. These features are provided “as is”, and you should check anything important yourself.
8. Pre-release app
The app is under active development and may be offered as an alpha or beta version. Features may change, be removed or not work as expected, and the Service may be interrupted. We may limit access to invited users. We will try to warn you before changes that affect your data.
9. Paid plans
The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, their price and conditions will be shown to you before you buy, and purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to their terms. You will never be charged without agreeing to it first.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, including the app, the website, the RHRS name and logo, and the design, belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended, and nothing more.
11. Liability
We provide the Service with reasonable care, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits or loss of data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or CZK 2,500 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for harm to life or health, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app under Account → Delete account, or by writing to us. If you are the only admin of a script that other people use, the app first lets you hand it over to one of them. A script you do not hand over is deleted with your account, for everyone on it. Your recordings are deleted with your account in every case. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if the law requires it; where reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why. We may also discontinue the Service; we will give you reasonable notice so you can export Your Content where possible.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by e-mail before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be decided by the competent courts in Prague. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim there.
Consumers may also turn to out-of-court dispute resolution. In the Czech Republic, the competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), www.coi.cz.
